   2011:  Arunachal conffered Diamond States Award

                Arunachal Pradesh was conferred with the India's Top 3 Diamond States Award conducted by IBN7. The Diamond Sates Award was started by the IBN team two years ago and is given to individual states for being best in parameters viz. poverty eradication, Water & Sanitation, Law and order, Infrastructure, environment, employment, education, women empowerment etc. Arunachal Pradesh was selected for being one of India’s Top 3 Diamond States amongst the Small States across various parameters in human and social Development. The jury headed by Dr. Bimal Jalan, former Governor of RBI, scrupulously went through the data presented through credible sources in all sectors and finally adjudged Arunachal Pradesh for the prestigious award in recognition of the holistic development brought in by the present State Government in a very short spell of time. The award was given away by Vice President of India Dr.  Hamid Ansari on February 23, 2011.

2011 : Most Improved Small States Award by India Today group

    Arunachal Pradesh, bags three awards in the 'Most improved small states' category, instituted by India Today, Group. Arunachal Pradesh was adjudged the Most Improved Small State in investment sector, macro economy and overall performance.

2012: Arunachal Felicitated for - Incredible India initiative / Campaign Clean India

    Arunachal Pradesh was felicitated for taking the 'Incredible India' initiative to new heights. It was adjudged the best state for 'Campaign Clean India 'and also won a special prize for the most innovative use of information technology at the National Tourism Awards 2011-12 on March 18 2012. The award was given away by President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee.

               

2012 :Lonely Planet christened Arunachal as the Last of the great Shangri-La

         "Lonely Planet",  the international travel icon had christened Arunachal Pradesh as ‘The last of the Great Shangri-La' and declared it as the 4th best region in the world to travel in 2012.

 2013:

               Arunachal Pradesh secured the second runners-up position in Lonely Planet Magazine India's new list of "Emerging Destinations in India". Gujarat topped the list followed closely by the Jammu and Kashmir state. A panel of judges comprising Karan Anand (Cox & Kings), Veena Patil (Kesari Travels), Deep Kalra (Make My Trip), Manju Kashyap (Windmill Holidays), Rajeev Waghle (Kuoni Travels) shortlisted 42 categories and put them to vote amongst the Lonely Planet Magazine readers.

2013: Outlook Traveler readers voted Arunachal Pradesh as favourite upcoming desitination

Arunachal Pradesh was voted the 'Favorite Upcoming Destination' by Outlook Traveler readers, an outcome of a survey conducted through a poll in January 2013.

         

2013: Shri Nabam Tuki  conferred Lifetime Achievement Award for Peace

    Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki was conferred the Lifetime Achievement for Peace by the United Nations affiliated International Association of Educators of World Peace (IAEWP) at a function at the India International Centre in January 2013.

     

2013 : Green State of the year Award to Arunachal Pradesh by CUTE

    The Chief Minister had also received the "Green State of the Year Award" on behalf of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh conferred by the International Body Clean Up The Earth (CUTE).

             

2013-2014: Krishi Karman Award

    Arunachal Pradesh was bestowed with Krishi Karman Commendation Award for increase growth of food grains (3.895 tonnes) in 2013-14. The state, which has shown exemplary agri-performance in 14 different categories, was awarded with Rs one crore cash and a citation. Incidentally, the state had won the same award for 2012-13 for producing 3.62 lakh MT food grains as compared with 3.34 lakh MT during 2010-11, an increase of 8.63 per cent of state's total food grain production.

 

2014  : Skill Development programme - India's Best Project -2014

    Arunachal Pradesh has bagged India's Best Project-2014 award for implementation of skill development and employment generation in the state for the benefit of youth, mostly less-educated and school drop-outs. The award, instituted by Gurgaon-based Skoch Group dealing with socio-economic issues, was given in a ceremony at the national capital on November 21, 2014. The award was given away by Union Minister for Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs Venkaiah Naidu.

             

2014 : Best Performing State on Devolution of Powers to PRIs

    Arunachal Pradesh was recognized as the ‘Best Performing State’ (5th Rank) in terms of devolution of power to PRIs in the country with an award of Rs. 1 Cr and a citation. In 2013, Arunachal was 27th in the list.
