ITANAGAR,January 24: Chief Minister Nabam Tuki has expressed profound sorrow over unfortunate demise of Former Minister Late Sobeng Tayang who breathed his last this morning at his private resident at Tafragam village following a brief illness.
"In his death we have lost one of the first generation leaders, who contributed in shaping our state to the present form. He served the state and the country in different capacities and brought a positive change in education and agriculture sectors in the state, particularly in Lohit district. He will be remembered by the people of Arunachal Pradesh for his unstinted contribution to the state and its people", CM said.
"At this moment of grief, me, my family, colleagues in the Government and people of Arunachal Pradesh extend our solidarity with the bereaved family members and share the pain inflicted by this irreparable loss” he further added.
